This new Northern Film School course offers traditional and digital elements, 2D and 3D animation underpinned by theoretical and contextual studies and enhanced by a strong integrated focus towards industry-based practice and professionalism. Links with industry professionals will provide students with ‘live’ projects, experience, contacts and a thirsty appetite for enterprise. This will include guest lectures and communication with individuals / creative studios both in the UK and abroad. The course encourages experimentation through a broad range of media and techniques by combining traditional processes with new technologies in personal and collaborative projects, facilitating students to develop their individual creativity.
