During this time children are welcomed by their key worker for registration, staff will engage the children with discussions about the weather, sound of the week, day of the week, etc

The children are gathered together for free play, the following opportunities will be available for the children to experience:

Water, sand, painting, role play, floor toys, construction, modelling, cutting, colouring and reading

Structured activity time. The staff follow the weekly planning sheets for the days learning opportunities, Children work in small groups with their key-worker and staff and engage the children with discussions relating to their topic.

Carpet Time, The children are brought together and enjoy a range of activities such as stories, rhymes, role play and group discussions reflecting upon the days activities.

Snack time. All children will be provided with milk and a healthy snack such as fruit, bread sticks, raisins, sandwiches or dried fruit.

Physical play. Outdoor provision is included in this time. The large play area outside is both safe and secure which enables the children to move around safely and freely. Children will have the use of bikes, beanbags, hoops and outdoor group games.

11.30 am

Home time. Children are collected by parents and say goodbye for the day, collecting their precious items to take home.
