Our Staff

At the Land of Learning Nursery we choose our teaching staff for their ability to provide optimum care and dedication for your child.

All our staff are CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked by the nursery prior to employment.

Staff ratios are 1:4 for 2-3 year olds and 1:8 for 3-5 year olds.

The nursery is staffed by fully qualified Nursery Nurses who hold NNEB, NVQ Level 3 and/or NVQ Level 2 in Childcare and Education.

Specialist training for staff is on-going throughout their employment at the Nursery to develop their professional skills and knowledge to provide the highest quality of care and education for your child. With our emphasis on training and professional development we also act as placement centre for newly qualified Nursery Nurses.

A Key Worker system is also implemented at the Nursery to assist your child with settling into the Nursery and to form a close relationship with their carer whilst attending the Nursery
